Death by Teddy Bear
Another example of Islam's apparent inability to function in the real world comes from Sudan, where thousands of protesters are calling for the execution of a British teacher who allowed students to name a class teddy bear "Mohammed", claiming the act was an offense against Islam.
Of course, it's fine for parents to name their children "Mohammed" and then send them off to a suicide bombing that targets innocent people, but somehow that action isn't offensive to this allegedly "peaceful religion".
Seems the Sudanese are belying the "peaceful" epithet. Reminds me of the old saying: "We are a peaceful religion, and if you disagree, we'll kill you."

Frank Lloyd Wright's Buffalo
A coworker had lent me a DVD on Frank Lloyd Wright's upstate New York architecture.
The next day, I was at the office waiting for the elevator when another coworker walked up. He saw I was carrying a DVD and asked, "What's that?"
I replied, "It's a video: 'Frank Lloyd Wright's Buffalo'," to which my coworker responded, "I didn't know Wright had a buffalo."
